Growing deep in woodland moss beneath Douglas fir and Western Hemlock trees.
Temp: 40’s, raining today and last 24 hrs.
Dark brown cap, large white patches(easily removed)- tight vulva at stem base and close veil remnant.
Multiple specimens here beneath Douglas fir, Western Hemlock and Pinus contorta as well.
This post includes 4 different patches within a few hundred yards of one another on the Northern side of the park- North of deep lake.
