Both types(?) appear to be very fresh.It would be interesting to know if they were truly 2 species.

This was a real fun to see. I did check if the bottoms were fused—-they weren’t.

Interesting to have two seemingly different species of morels growing out of the same cluster. Did you cut them or clear the duff away to see if they were sprouting from the same base? Maybe it’s just a really good microclimate and they’re competing against each other.
