Observation 68452: Pleurotus ostreatus (Jacq.) P. Kumm.
When: 2011-05-30
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Seemed like every fallen Alder tree in this canopy had an oyster fruiting from it today! Largest flush I’ve ever come across in the wild for sure :) :) :)

The late(colder) season, high winds= (new fallen timber) and abundant rain no doubt contributed to such a massive flush.

Temp: 50’s rainy(mixed sun breaks)
