Notes: Growing on well-rotted wood-“straw” mulch used to suppress weeds germinating on herbaceous borders in a suburban garden. Many fruiting bodies arising in clumps, simultaneously in several beds during dry spell after a period of heavy rain. Noumea has a tropical maritime climate.
