Bright yellow droplets(.25-.5cm) and balled clusters on severely burned conifer stump-in Ponderosa pine canopy.

Recognized by sight: Hemitrichia calyculata comes to mind for this observation but the drooping nature and stalk that is not very well defined is unusual. So maybe a Trichia sp. That I have not seen before.
