2 1/2" by 1 1/2" slightly convex cap found on a dead log. The tan top is hairy and the margin is thin, sterile and turned down and in. The underside is covered with brownish pores, and the pores extend down the 1/2", very off center stalk which has a black base. I think this may be Boletinellus merulioides.
