Notes: 4.5cm diameter cap. No distinct taste or odor – I cooked ’em up and they were pretty bland. Does not bruise or stain when cut. Growing under oak trees in mixed forest.

If you have some hydroxide solution, such as dilute ammonia or KOH, you will find that the pigmented portions of the basidiome will react positively to yield a blue-green/turquoise color.
