Not just the cap colour

Have a look at obs 25332, especially at the stem.
The photo there doesn’t show much of the cap colour, and neither does my own old and lousy picture of crocea, but I’ll make an observation of it anyway..

Amanita crocea can fade a bit to a paler yellowish, but I have never seen it turn to pinkish grey like this, and the colours on the stem isn’t consistent with crocea either.

You are much too picky for me… At least you agree that this is the same species as the others I found. They weren’t that far apart (a couple hundred meters or so).
