We saw several of these, all growing on the north side of large maples in the moss, just like this one. They did not bruise.

it seems a bit small, and the tubes are dark

Not one of these mushrooms had a diameter of more than 3cm. Also the gills of this mushroom were not white, both of which give me pause about T. badiceps or T. ferrugineus
