But Im not just a pot hunter,Mycology is a passion.I only wish I was better with a camera.I try to stay up with the proper names.But when there in question I just use what I have known them as in the past.When the experts sort it out then I will learn the new names.

there is no question about this ID.

new chanterelle names are in process everywhere, but no use jumping the gun.
don’t need to know the current latin to ID for the table.

I assume the lack of scientific specimen means that this was sent to the kitchen lab. ;)

Id rather call it a Chantrelle or use whats in the books I have!! :)And I admit my photos at times suck!!Im working on it!!
