Notes: Growing at the base of an Oak.The last 2 pics stink but there all I have.I took alot of pics with blurred images due to repellant on my camera lens.

Like a polypore Charles. There are several that look this way when young, buty guess is inonotus dryadeus. It’s typical work oak.
