concentric bands on the inside when it is cut open.

of the KOH reaction on the surface. Appeared to be a dark purplish hue.

Also, they do have a base on it, similar to a small Morganella pyriformis.

never seen a Daldinia start off orange before. Maybe some day I will learn them… Until then Daldinia concentrica group it is…
