Observation 71320: Monotropa uniflora L.
When: 2011-07-09
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Sprouting up everywhere under Douglas fir and Western red Cedars in the Cispus learning center parking lot (in front of main office). Many Boletus zellerii and Russula brevipes were here a few seasons ago- either could possibly be the symbiotic fungus providing nutrients for these Monotropa.

Temp: 70’s sunny- very dry week here in Washington- no rain.
