… subgenus Sericeocybe seems to be the default for all corts posted here if they are not specified as belonging in a certain subgenus, maybe this could be looked at by Nathan and possibly remedied as it seems a bit misleading, many of the species listed under that subgenus obviously don’t belong there!!

not likely in subgenus sericeocybe with a viscid cap like that. Could be either a Phlegmacium or Myxacium.
