Recognized by sight: Wetmore didn’t believe in Acarospora oxytona (= Pleopsidium flavum), and even though he reckoned that all his material belonged to that species, he placed it all in A. chlorophana (= P. chlorophana) instead. Since most lichenologists seem to recognize both species, I’m placing his material in P. flavum after all.
