Just about 100 Boletus luridus mushrooms are growing here at the moment
under Carpinus betulus trees, together with Lyophyllum caerulescens.

Well, as you know, the same is true
for the Geneva-Airport plane scheds…

When it comes to boletes, I love gregarious growth…

Now I know that if I am stuck at Flughafen Zurich in the heat of summer waiting for my delayed flight, I can always amuse myself by picking a handsome collection of lurid boletes growing amidst the airport installations. Ah, but then I quickly forget that plane schedules are always on time in Switzerland! Oh well… :D
