is what gets called calyptriformis in eastern NA. I photographed it the other day and the pink/peach colors don’t show up well, it looked to orange in the photos.
This is from northern CA:
Hygrocybe calyptraeformis is violetish pale bluish and not orange, maybe a bit pink but not that color. But I am lost for words what else it could be for overall gestalt fits for this species.
