Recognized by sight: I’m going on the yellow color (versus orange for Caloplaca, K test would confirm: Candelariella has weak K+ pinkish-reddish reaction, Caloplaca has very strong K+ wine-red). Sonoran Flora suggests:
C. citrina (8 “citriform” spores, i.e. ends somewhat pointy or acute-angled)
C. aurella (8 ellipsoid spores, i.e. ends more rounded and obtuse)
C. vitellina (more than 8 spores per ascus)
All three have discontinuous, non-lobate yellow thalli, as yours does.
