Observation 73143: Tapinella atrotomentosa (Batsch) Šutara

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Thought this was a polypore but it turned out to have gills.There were several growing on an old pine stump.Looked like a shelf polypore until turned over.Growing in a pine red pine stand.This specimen was the smallest of the group and had not opened up like the rest.
