Shhh, don’t tell anyone: Boletes and morels have been found every month of the year in the San Francisco Bay Area. Collections are rare in the off months, but they have fruited in some years.
I have seen others post Boletus edulis in August (Darv DeShazer), but have never found one myself in the summer. Yesterday, driving down Highway 1 in Sonoma County, I saw two, right off of the road. Great find!
