Deep yellow/brown dry capped with black striated lines—-small darkening spots between smi connected gills, long slender(striate) stem(very similar to many variations of A. mellea I have collected over the years. Fruiting singularly and clustered from rotten conifer logs beneath Salal, Oregon grape and Douglas fir trees. Odor sweetly fungaloid similar to a polypore.
Temp: mid 70’s, overcast, low precipitation.
