Notes: Beautiful new fruiting body of reishi on a Western hemlock log alongside old specimens(top right of log in 2nd and 3rd images) from last season.

Temp: 82 sunny- very humid in this deep forested part of the park.

shows measurement of 3 pores per mm on the spore bearing structure of this reishi indicating that it is G. oregonense.

G. tsugae has 4-6 pores per mm and are hard to even see with the naked eye at times.
