Observation 74018: Amanita constricta Thiers & Ammirati

Notes:
Small, delicate, Western grisette found in mixed conifer canopy(Douglas fir and Western Hemlock). This coastal specimen is more gray on stalk and vulva than specimens I have collected in the Puget sound region.

Temp: 70’s, sunny- constant precipitation from nearby pacific ocean.

Recognized by sight: often gray on stipe, and on inner volval sac. The volva in your second photo looks a bit pinched, too.
