Observation 74186: Agaricus pocillator Murrill
When: 2011-08-18
No herbarium specimen

Notes: A fairly diminutive and fragile-looking Agaricus basidiocarp growing on leaf litter under deciduous trees. Has an interesting odor — first it smelled faintly of a minty toothpaste; when cut in two, the odor was reminiscent of a gouache paint.
