puzzling, as well. Didn’t really notice in the field; saw the attachments in the photos. Did not bring specimen home.

the top and the bottom

The top looks exactly like a species in the Leucoagaricus rubrotinctus group, but the photo showing the lamellae gives a different picture, with adnate, not free lamellae. so i am puzzled !

save it and get a spore print? It doesn’t really appear like Inocybe to me..
