Recognized by sight: gray to dirty white cap color. Stipe tough, dingy-white, often yellowish towards base, with coarse reticulation, esp. at the apex. Pores whitish at first, becoming dirty-white to yellowish. The whole mushroom becomes dirty looking with age. Colors in the photo are a little to yellowish.
