Notes: These tiny yellow cups were growing from the shell of an old hickory nut.

Recognized by sight: habitat is right, color not so much

Recognized by sight: These do not have a stem, so Id go against Hymenoscypus of which many yellow varieties exist. The substrate is correct though.
B sulfurina occur on bodies of Sphaeriales which appear here to have coated the hickory nut. There is slight clustering as well.
