Notes: This little guy was growing on the side of a log in a damp shaded gully. It is about the size of a quarter.

It’s not a cup fungus. It’s a jelly filled flattened rubbery sack.

Could be ascomycota I suppose.

I’m pretty sure this is the same fungus as here:

This specimen reminds me of a glazed donuts.
