Observation 74800: Omphalotus illudens (Schwein.) Bresinsky & Besl

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found on lawn the day hurricane Irene was passing through. Growing in clusters apparently on ground but also possibly on buried roots. Gills – knife edged, non branching, decurrent, crowded, brightly colored. Did not observe glow in the dark phenomenon.
