Notes: Viscid cap and stipe, violet colors at stipe apex on younger. No KOH change. Odor faint, of celery. Taste mild. Growing in mixed woods with Red Oak, Beech, Yellow Birch, White Pine, Eastern Hemlock and Red Spruce
