Found under Balsam fir in Zone 56. These appeared last year in similar locations — under fir mainly near the river and in other damp environs.

I didn’t see any greenish on this mushroom. Any in the picture is indeed from the surrounding vegetation.
appears to show a bit of greenish tint on the cap… but I think this may just be a color reflection from the surrounding plants. Lactarius thyinos should show no green on the fruit body.
