I think the texture is pretty consistent, but the features were minute so its hard to say.

Hard to say, but it looks like your spot tests are K- C- KC+y — usnic acid. (Usnic acid is often both KC+y and CK+y; the CK+y doesn’t necessarily mean diffractaic acid.) The main problem here is I can’t tell what the soralia look like. Is this entirely leprose? Or are there soredia in patches hidden somewhere in one of these photos? Or something else entirely?
