This observation is for the brown part, it was on display at the 14th Annual Fungus Fair in Senguio, Michoacan, Mexico. (La Faria del Hongo) H. lactifluorum and H. macrosporus are fighting for the same mushroom.

Same specimen as observation 75374.

but what is eaten in Mexico is not always what is considered edible elsewhere.

I was told it was edible, but I don’t believe we ever ate it.
