Observation 75603: Amanita “sp-34” Tulloss crypt. temp.

When: 2011-09-05

Collection location: Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dave W (Dave W)

Specimen available

I’ve seen many examples of small/slender ringless Amanitas with yellow to orange striate caps and small basal bulb which lacks a distinct collar. Habitat for these types has varied quite a bit, with the one constant being “open areas.”

This collection was made under Blue Spruce.

Spores are elliptical to sub globose, and varied quite a bit in size. I’ll eventually post a spore pic.
