I hear tell, other than making you really sick when you eat it, that it is also quite heavy in the hand, and more colorful than say a similar edulis species.

Ive been hearing such for a couple of years… but never met anyone who has run into a problem. Would figure that your generation would have found it troubling and known about it more prominently than is now being reported……

Also, what is that think H nidulans look alike that stains black with KOH called"? I remember you ID’ing it recently.
