Notes: Brought to my attention by Noah,Bill,Walt- This B. gertrudae cap looking specimen has purple hues like a seperans, but yellowing at the top of the stipe as typical for gertrudae. When dropping chemicals on it, it tests for X. seperans… BUT… you must drop in the center of the cap. The outside will give a red amonnia reading , while the center the greenish giveaway.
