No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing sisde by side with Caloplaca (C. cerina) on the bark of a big shrub.
The perithecia are much smaller than those of Pyrenula macrospora considered in my previous observations.
Average dimension of the spores:
Me = 26.5 × 11.8 µm ; Qe = 2.3 (N=50).
