I don’t think that this is the same

as the conifer species that we call T. austuans nor do I think it’s the same as the European one (see the observation Irene posted) but I know of no other name for this.

were these growing under? T. aestuans’ typical habitat is with pines, although sometimes with oak. Leaves in the photos appear to be some kind of hardwood.
