doesn’t tell the whole truth.. Northern species are pes-caprae, metapodium, spinulosum.
An american species is umbrosum (farinaceous smell, amyloid spores).
If this is it, is another question (could be)

pray tell, is a Porpoloma? Wikipedia tells me they occur predominantly in South America. What makes you think you’ve got one all the way up in Canada?
