Recognized by sight: it’s certainly a polypore of some kind, but certainly NOT Trametes versicolor, despite that zonate cap. Turkey tails are small and thin fleshed.

Yes I thought it was large, 8" wide. But it was growing on a 1 yard diameter mango tree stump. Any other suggestions on what it could be? Thnks
