Observation 77116: Mycena haematopus (Pers.) P. Kumm.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: it was growing on decaying mossy medium-hard woods,like (hickory,walnut trees) with a lot of horse crap around. It (BLEEDS A CINNAMON/PURPLE) any where you touch it.has a brownish purple spore print. I’ve not been able to get a real good print yet.It is freshly picked(about 1 hour ago) and it is September 24,2011 around 6:00pm in the after noon mostly on the south side of the mossy wood.
