Notes: This cluster was growing as a saphrophyte at the base of tree stump (probably Jack pine); no distinct odor or taste (not particularly bitter); no rhizomorphs apparent; there were about a half dozen similar clusters scattered at the bases of dead trees within a 50 ~ meter radius.
