Notes: On ground, scattered. Smaller than 1 cm. Not under any trees, but near beech. Sticky, but not slimy. Unremarkable taste or smell.

Renee LeBeuf suggested I take another look and as usual she was right. The stickiness of the cap and very small size point toward H. minutula. H. miniata has a dry to moist cap but not sticky.
