Definitely some slugs at work

The bulb surely has bruised “craters” where something was eating it. The pattern doesn’t seem to follow what would be a missing shoulder, though. The bulb looks like it was pretty smooth to begin with.

It looks like a slug might have trimmed the “shoulder” off
