Observation 79202: Panus conchatus (Bull.) Fr.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing from sawdust/shredded wood at the base of a maple (Acer sp.) as well as the exposed roots, the wood could likely be maple as well. I will try to visit the spot several times and update with more pictures while they mature.

Seen them like this before along side mature specimens. Like a thumb tac in a grape.
