Observation 79372: Boletus rubellus Krombh.

When: 2011-10-12

Collection location: Lake Forest Park, Washington, USA [Click for map]

Who: Rory Pease (Rory Pease)

No specimen available

There was an oak, fruit tree (plum) and a Japanese Maple present. The yard had grass and moss. We have seen Xerocomus chrysenteron in this location. I am not sure which of the little, “brick boletes” this mushroom is, but I will guess Xerocomellus rubellus. I will take more pictures today.
