Notes:
“Key to identifying this small wood rotter is recognizing its variable cap color” [Mykoweb]. “Spores elliptic to nearly tear-shaped” [MatchMaker]. Baeospora myosura and other Strobilurus species do not seem to have these characteristics.

Spore size: 4-5 × 2-2.5 microns.
