Specimen available

Growing near Douglas Fir in somewhat dry soil. I’d guess Chroogomphus vinicolor, but the gills are awfully close and the annulus is particularly well definined.

I just found another pseudovinicolor today amid numerous little vinicolors!

apparently their heft alone gets you to pseudovinicolor.
