Notes: In duff among mixed Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var. menziesii), Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens), Tanoak (Notholithocarpus densiflorus) and Hazelnut (Corylus Cornuta var. Californica).

is a mess in California, with many undescribed species, and without La. rubrotinctus itself, which is a northeastern species with an orangey pileus. The one pictured here is one of the nameless species.
