like candolleana and delineata, I don’t know Psathyrella species very well. But, the very dark cap color does seem like an unusual trait within this genus. Another species easily recognized…? That would be nice!

and all its other pretty little features are very bipellisy. I don’t know of any lookalikes.

the marginal striations reported for P. bipellis. Maybe they’re hiding under the veil remnants? Habitat fits bipellis (woody debris near a firewood stack). What is it about this observation that leads to such a confident proposal?
